Many shops stay open from 6-9pm, this event is a way to showcase local artists, musicians and many other artistic vendors.
Downtown Greensboro is home to many of the city's creative venues that include independent galleries, a “living art museum,” the area's leading regional theatres, the Cultural Center, and the area's largest concentration of locally owned shops offering specialty clothing, accessories, antiques and much more.
First Friday's are always a lot of fun, you will get to meet new people and experience downtown Greensboro at its finenest. Past First Fridays have had a variety of events such as Belly dancing, open mic night, caricatures, and improv comedy. First Friday is a great way to get to know the local area.
